Stephanie J. Burke, Senior Reference and International Law Librarian at Boston University’s Pappas Law Library, holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (1990) and a JD from Northeastern University School of Law (1993). After several years as a litigator, she transitioned to the field of law librarianship, earning an MS from Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science in 1998.

This latest update is by Fred D. Barnhart, Head of Reference Services at Loyola University Chicago Law Library, who holds a BA from Indiana University, Bloomington (1990) and an MLS from the Indiana University School of Library and Information Science. (1994). Fred earned his J.D. from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law (2000) where he also worked in the law library as Head of Reference, Interim Director, and Associate Director. He teaches Legal Research & Writing in Loyola’s post-graduate Paralegal Program and Advanced Legal Research at Loyola Law School.
