Suzanne Thorpe
Suzanne Thorpe
is Professor of Legal Research Instruction, University of Minnesota Law
School. Professor Thorpe earned B.A. and
M.A. degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She received her J.D.
degree from the University of Minnesota, and she
is recognized for her
expertise in the area of legal research and library administration. She is the
Associate Director for Faculty, Research and Instructional Services. She
oversees all public and faculty services offered by the University of
Minnesota Law Library. She provides legal research instruction and is also
responsible for collecting Scandinavian legal materials for the Law Library.
Professor Thorpe was appointed the inaugural Caroline Brede Scholar for
1999-2001.
