ERI Economic Research Institute provides published reports and software database products concerning human resources and capital research. Though ERI has reports and products for sale, several useful items are free on the website. There are links to compensation and benefits terms, U.S. compensation codes and laws, state compensation codes and laws, Canadian remuneration, provincial remuneration, and international remuneration codes. Unfortunately, there is great deal of extra clicking involved to reach the actual information.
SciTech Resources.gov bills itself as a catalog of government science and technology websites. Website topics covered include agriculture and food technology, biological sciences, building industry technology, library and information resources, and medical sciences and technology to list a few. Each entry includes the website name, the url, a brief description of the website ( a short phrase or sentence) and the website sponsoring agency or department. The website is a work in progress so new entries are still being added.

At this website, you can request a free copy of their 2003 salary guide that provides the latest starting salary data for attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries and other legal professionals. The guide also presents key staffing and industry trends.

These awards honor attorneys who make a difference, from small firms to large firms. Individual attorneys and firms are highlighted. There is also a chart of the percentage of billable hours per law firm.
Freedom in the World 2001-2002
There are 192 country and 17 related and disputed territory reports in this survey. The survey endeavors to monitor the progress and decline of political rights and civil liberties in the countries and territories it covers. To access the country/territory reports, you must select your country or territory from one of seven pull down menus. Each report begins with the following categories of information: polity, economy, population, purchasing power parities (PPP), life expectancy, ethnic groups, capital, political rights, civil liberties, and status. The second section provides an overview and an analysis of political rights and civil liberties. Freedom is a voice for democracy and freedom worldwide and was founded by Eleanor Roosevelt and Wendell Willkie, along with others, sixty years ago.
