subcommittee which guided the firm through the decision process of

This site provides links to ethics in twelve categories: business,
environmental, ethical theory, international human rights and
migration, legal, media, medical, religious perspective on ethics,
science and technology, social and public policy, and student moral
development. Under legal ethics are two categories: freedom of
expression and legal profession. You can browse the ethics links in
the database, look at the featured ethical site of the week, perform a
search on an external search engine or suggest a site to be added to
the database. This site is developed by the Markkula Center for
Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University.
Committee--State Bar of Georgia Computer Law Section
This site provides links to articles concerning attorney advertising
in cyberspace, general ethics information on the Internet, and Georgia
Law Office Hornbook
This site is described as "a resource for lawyers and law firm
administrators seeking information and guidance on issues relating to
malpractice avoidance, firm management, and lawyers' professional
liability insurance. The site is produced by the Virginia State Bar,
the Tennessee Bar Association, and the State Bar of Arizona. There is
a search engine and articles. The Virginia Code of Professional
Responsibility can be accessed from this site as well as the Tennessee
court opinions and the Tennessee Bar Journal. Some of the Tennessee
Bar site is open to Bar members only. The Rules of Professional
Conduct are available at the State Bar of Arizona site. You can also
search the court opinions by keyword at this site.
This provides an alphabetical list of Internet and computer related
terms linked to their definitions. One thousand plus terms are listed.
The terms can be browsed or searched.
Congress Guide to Law Online
This is an annotated guide to free sources of information worldwide
on government and law. The guide divided into five categories: United
States, Nations of the World, Multi-national &n International
Legal Sources, More Information about the GUIDE, and the GLIN Home
This Latin American Network Information Center site has two main
directories of links: Country Directory and Subject Directory. There
are also links to virtual libraries, searchable indexes, and research
institutions and more.
National Law Center
for Inter-American FreeTrade
This site charges for its Latin American Legal Materials. There is a
link to information about those charges. There are links to selected
English translations of Mexican laws from the InterAm Database,
Inter-American Trade and Investment Bulletin archives, the LAT-LAW
Listserv, and related sites.
This site allows the searcher to search on one or more of the 20
performance criteria fields provided. You can also limit the search by
exchange and/or industry group. The search is run against a database
of 7,500+ companies. Initial search results are displayed
alphabetically, but can be sorted by one of the your search criteria.
Each company name displayed links to a Hoover's Company Capsule which
includes a wealth of basic company information, a link to the
company's Website plus stock quote and chart, latest quarterly
earnings, current news, and more if available.
This site provides links to 400+ online manuals covering these
topics: DOS/Windows, Internet, Network, OS/2, Programming, and Unix.
There is an alphabetical list of all the manuals which link directly
to each manual.
ProFusion is a meta-search engine. You can search any or all nine
search engines simultaneously. Retrieved items are ranked by relevance
and duplicate retrievals are removed. You may use Boolean search

maps. It does not seem as comprehensive in its coverage as some of the
other mapping sites. It does allow for you to hear the directions. The

Legal & Management Information
on the Year 2000 Computer Problem
This site covers liability, disclosures, contracting ideas, articles
& presentations, legislation, and links. There are links to
government sites which include the military. The site has a search
engine. The site has been set up by the law firm of Galland, Kharasch
& Garfinkle P.C.
This site provides access to Microsoft's Encarta Concise
Encyclopedia. It is a free, abridged version, of the Encarta available
on CD-ROM. There is search capability at the site.
Legal Search Engines
This site has the legal search engines all in one spot for easy
access. In addition, there are over 800 specialized search engines in
45 categories available for use. There are also links to reference
sites, freestuff sites, Web cameras, and much more.
Counsel Quest is designed to guide the user to legal and government
resources on the Internet. It covers archaic laws, attorneys and law
firms, bar associations, codes and statutes, constitutions, courts and
opinions, employment resources, federal information, humor and the
law, international sites, law schools, legal research, publishers,
state information, Usenet news groups and more.
