This site is produced by the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation which “is an independent philanthropy focusing on the major health care issues facing the nation. The Foundation is primarily an operating organization that develops and runs its own research and communications programs, often in partnership with outside organizations.” This site contains the latest state-level data on demographics, health, and health policy. The user can review individual state profiles and find out how an individual state compares with the U.S. overall. Pertinent state websites and officials are listed. The user can also opt to obtain 50 state comparisons by choosing a pertinent subject category. Information will then be displayed as tables, rankings, graphs, or color coded maps.

There are two categories of information provided at this website: Senate Bibliographies and House Hearings. The first is comprehensive lists of Hearings, Prints, and Publications Printed by the Senate from 1983 to the present. The second is lists of House Committee Meetings Recorded in the Congressional Record’s Daily Digest from 1985 to the present. Each has lists by Congress. The Senate side also has Senate Report cards and a search engine for searching the bibliographies.
