Government Executive Top 200 Federal Contractors
This site presents the annual special report from Government Executive which rates the top 200 federal contractors by dollar volume of their awards. There is a search engine, or you can choose from three categories, each subdivided into subcategories, to locate the contractors. There are also links to the Top 200 Civilian Agency Contractors, the Top 100 Defense Contractors, and the Top 50 Information Technology Contractors. This search tool searches in parallel all the “best search engines.” It then merges the results, removes the redundancies and places the hits in locational groupings in a very fast return time. I found this to be a nifty tool. I was able to find a site on a first search here that did not turn up in searches via several other search engines.
The Journal of Commerce Top 100 Importer & Exporters
This special report lists the top 100 shippers in four categories: containerized exporters and importers and non-containerized exporters and importers. Profiles of the executives responsible for shipping in the top 100 copies are provided. This site is found on Price’s List of Lists website.
This site is divided into three categories: National, States, and International. The National category has links to national legal websites plus an information exchange for persons working on cases. This site is described as a clearinghouse of various lists of information such as rankings of people, organizations, and companies. The lists are divided into four sections: Business, Education, Living, and Politics with divisions under the sections and links to the various lists.
Washington Technology Top 100 Federal Contractors
This site provides a page link to the annual Top 100 Federal Information Technology Services Contractors list from Washington Technology. There are links to profiles of the Top 20. This site is found on Price’s List of Lists website.
Chicago Newspaper Network
70+ Hollinger newspapers are covered at this site. The Chicago Sun-Times, the Daily Southtown, the Pioneer Press chain of north side/north and northwest suburban weeklies, and the Star chain of south suburban weeklies are included. Top news, arts, sports, and business are covered. Searches may be performed by town, region, or country. You can register for a free e-mail edition of the newspapers.

Public Utility Home Page
This site covers electric, natural gas, telecommunications, and water utility information. Federal public utility statutes and state public utility statutes and regulations are provided for selected states. There is a specific category for Pennsylvania electric restructuring.
Big Charts is an invest ment charting site that provides free charts, quotes, and stock reports for 24,000+ U.S. stocks, mutual funds, and market indices. There are two types of charts: quick and interactive. The interactive option allows the user to customize the chart to reflect the users interest. Current and historical data are included. The user can search by stock symbol or keyword.
Northern Light Search
Northern Light Search is unique in that it offers the option of searching the World Wide Web and its Special Collection of over 1,800 journals, books, magazines, databases, and newswires. The Special Collection can be browsed by subject or title alphabetically. The WWW and the Special Collection can be searched individually as well. All abstracts describing premium articles are free of charge, as are abstracts from the Medical Data Exchange. Magill Book Reviews are free, too. Search results are organized in custom folders comprised of subject, type(press releases, maps, recipes etc.), source, or language. You pay for only the information you desire in full text via a secured online credit card transaction. Prices range from $1.00 to $4.00 per article.

Sources and Experts
This is a listing of links to organizations that have placed their directories of experts on the Internet. It includes a link to Profnet which sends queries to 1,400 organizations three times a day and allows searching of its database of over 2,000 experts.
Swiss Bank Dormant Accounts Web Site
This list is provided by the Swiss Bankers Association. It lists all dormant accounts opened by non-Swiss individuals prior to the end of World War II (May 9, 1945). You can browse the list alphabetically. The name and available information on the last reported town and country are provided. There is a listing of those persons given power of attorney by the account holders plus information on the individuals who gave power of attorney. Information on how to file a claim, a claim form, and a list of contact offices for Ernst & Young are provided.
